Bluebirds love the homes we build. They are made with 1" Alabama red cedar, including a lofty roof that is insulated with foam insulation. The roof is made from reclaimed slate shingles found on a collapsed provisions barn found deep in the woods in Fosters Alabama. This is a beautiful community just outside of Tuscaloosa. The bronze pins to secure the roof were reclaimed from an old leather sofa on the side of the road. These homes last for years and also stay cooler in the heat of the summer, protecting the young from extreme exposures.
